Cancellation policy

At Oppenmart, we understand that plans can change. That’s why we allow order cancellations under certain conditions.


✅ 1. When Can You Cancel an Order?

You can cancel your order before it is shipped or prepared for delivery. Cancellation is allowed if:

  • The order is still pending or processing

  • The item has not been packed, dispatched, or delivered

  • It is within 1 hour of placing the order (recommended)


🚫 2. When Cancellation Is Not Allowed

Your order cannot be canceled if:

  • It has already been shipped or out for delivery

  • It's a non-cancelable item (e.g. perishable, digital, final sale)

  • It was a custom-made or pre-ordered item

In such cases, you may request a return instead (see Return Policy).


🛠️ 3. How to Cancel an Order

To cancel an order:

  1. Go to My Orders in your Oppenmart account

  2. Click the order you want to cancel

  3. Tap “Cancel Order” and choose a reason

  4. You'll receive a cancellation confirmation by SMS/email


💸 4. Refund After Cancellation

If you paid in advance:

  • A full refund will be processed within 5–10 business days

  • Refunds go to your original payment method (Mobile Money, Card, etc.)

If you chose Cash on Delivery, no refund is required.
